To me, personal work is just as important as any commercial assignment. The freedom to set your own rules and expectations is liberating, yet creatively demanding. It is this dichotomy that makes the exercise of photography so magnetic. Indeed, it is this very feature that affords us the potential to craft an image that leaves an impression. I say with certainty that all my journeys and experiences have been made so much more meaningful because I approach each one with a bit of equipment, a dose of focus and a willingness to let the subject guide me.
